Abstract
Frey s Syndrome is a frequently seen complication following parotidectomy. This syndrome is represented by gustatory sweating in the cheek and preauricular area. Various medical and surgical interventions have been reported in the literature for the prevention and its treatment. Most of these require an aggressive surgery and/or painful applications such as repeated injections. Botulinum Toxin A, sytemic or topical anti-cholinergic agents, rotation of sternocleidomastoid muscle, transplantation of fascia lata, SMAS interposition, dermal and dermo-fat grafts are among those previously reported interventions. In this case report, we used acellular dermis in a patient who developed an open book Frey's Syndrome following superficial parotidectomy. The symptoms subsided and the patient returned to his regular daily life in a short time.
