Abstract
In thisreport, our experience using tissue expanders forreconstruction of burn scarin head and neck region waspresented. Two expanders were used to reconstructburn scarin twelve patients whereasone expandercreated adequate tissue for reconstruction of burn scar in20 patients. Major complication rate was 14 %. They wereimplant exposure (two) and infection of expande(two). In allcases, with using tissue expansion technique adequate softtissue was obtainedto close the created soft tissue defectand satisfying aesthetic results were achived.
