Te coexistence of primary laryngeal pemphigus, oesophageal inlet patch and oesophageal stricture presenting with odynophagia

Özet

Seksen yaşında erkek hasta; iki ay içinde 5 kg vücutağırlığı kaybı, ağır odinofaji ve retrosternal yanma şikayetiyle başvurmuştur. Hastada 22 yıl önce gastrik karsinoma nedeniyle geçirilmiş total gastro-özefajektomi veradyoterapi öyküsü mevcuttu. Endoskopide epiglot vearitenoidlerde lezyonlar izlendi. Lezyonların histopatolojisinde gastrik mukozal alanlar içeren pemfigus vulga- ris ile uyumlu lezyon olarak rapor edilmiştir. Biz primer larengeal pemfigus ve İnlet Patch birlikteliği görülen bir olgu sunduk.

Abstract

An 80 year old male patient presented with severeodynophagia and retrosternal discomfort that resultedin a 5 kg weight loss in two months. Te patient had ahistory of total gastrectomy-esophagojejunostomy andradiotherapy for gastric carcinoma, 22 years previously.Endoscopy revealed lesions located on the epiglottis andarytenoids. Histopathology of lesions was pemphigus vulgaris while the presence of gastric mucosa in sampleswas suggestive of Inlet Patch. We present a coexistenceof primary laryngeal pemphigus and Inlet Patch.
