Bichat yağ dokusunun, oral kaviteye herniasyonu nadirgörülen klinik bir durumdur. Özellikle genç çocuklardadaha sık karşılaşılan, direkt bukkal mukozaya travma son- rası kısa sürede gelişen travmatik psödolipomlar, travmaveya hematom gibi sitokin salınımını tetikleyen durumlar- dan sonra adipositlerin depolanmasındaki ve diferansiyas- yonundaki değişimlere bağlı gelişebilen, post-travmatik lipomlar olarak bilinirler. Bu makalede, 3 yaşında bir erkekçocukta künt-penetran travmaya sekonder herniye olmuşBichat yağ dokusu olgusu sunulmuş, tanı ve tedavidekiönemli noktalar literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.

Abstract

Herniation of Bichat s fat tissue into the oral cavity isa rare clinical entity. It is especially seen in young chil- dren and is known as traumatic pseudolipomas , whichs formed within a short time after direct trauma to thebuccal mucosa or post-traumatic lipomas , which isformed by trauma and hematoma that triggers cytokineelease and changes storage and diferentiation of the adipocytes. In this article, herniation of Bichat s fat tis-sue secondary to blunt-penetrating trauma in a 3-year-old boy is presented and diagnosis and treatment is dis-cussed with the literature
