Özet
Spina bifida "cystica"nın servikal bölgede görülmesi nadir bir durumdur. Bu yazıda beş servikal meningomiyelosel olgusu bildirilmiştir. Olguların motor defisitleri yoktu. Manyetik rezonans görüntüleme her olguda servikal omuriliğin arkaya doğru gerildiğini gösterdi. İlaveten üç olguda Chiari malformasyonu ve hidrosefali, bir olguda ise lomber Tip I ayrık omurilik anomalisi saptandı. Cerrahi tedavi kesenin çıkartılması ve servikal omuriliğin intradural eksplorasyonla serbestleştirilmesinden ibaretti. Bu lezyonların embriyogenezleri, klinik ve radyolojik bulguları, cerrahi tedavileri mevcut literatür eşliğinde tartışıldı.
Abstract
Occurrence of spina bifida cystica in cervical region is rare. Five cases of cervical myelomeningocele are reported in this paper. The cases had no motor deficits. Magnetic resonance images showed posteriorly tethered cervical spinal cord in all. Three patients had associated Chiari malformation and hydrocephalus and one patient had associated lomber Type I split cord malformation. Surgical treatment consisted of resection of the sac and untethering of the cervical spinal cord with intradural exploration. The embryogenesis, clinical and radiological features, surgical treatment of these lesions are discussed with the relevant literature
