Özet
Tip II split kord malformasyonu; omuriliğin bir veya birkaç vertebra boyunca sagittal düzlemde ve tek dural kılıf içinde segmental bölünmesidir. İki omurilik yarısının ortasında fibröz bir bant bulunur. Yazımızda tip II split kord malformasyonlu bir olguda spinal kanal, müdahale için birkaç seviyeli laminotomi uygulamasını sunduk. Uygulamadaki amaç henüz gelişmekte olan omurganın normal mimarisini korumaktır.
Abstract
Type II split cord malformation is sagittal division of the neural axis at one or more vertebral levels in a single dural sheat. Two hemicords are seperated by a fibrous median septum. In this report; we presented multiple level laminotomies for spinal canal exposure at the patient with type II split cord malformation. The goal is preservation of the normal architecture of the spine in patient who is still developing.
