Özet

metopik sütürün zamanından önce kapanması sonucu oluşan bir kraniosinostoz tipidir. Etiyolojik olarak farklı nedenler tanımlanmıştır. Bu patoloji bazı olgularda sendromik tablolara da eşlik edebilir. Klinik olarak çok farklı zihinsel gelişim sorunları ve davranış problemleri sergiler. Erken dönemde cerrahi tedavi önerilir. Preoperatif değerlendirme çok ayrıntılı yapılmalıdır. Tüm hastalar pediatrik nöroşirürjiyen, pediatrik hematolog ve nöroanestezistten oluşan mültidisipliner bir ekip tarafından tarafından değerlendirilmelidir. Radyolojik olarak üç boyutlu tomografi cerrahi öncesi planlamada ve sonrasında bu olguları izlemede altın standarttır. Cerrahide amaç büyümekte olan serebral dokuya hacim yaratmakdır, bu nedenle frontoorbital ilerletmeyi de içeren kalvarial yeniden şekillendirme önerilen cerrahi yaklaşımdır. Abstract

Early closure of the metopic suture may lead to trigonocephaly. Several etiological factors are reported. In some cases, this synostosis may be associated with syndromes. Clinically, trigonocephaly cases may present with mental developmental and behavioral problems. Early surgical treatment is recommended. Preoperative evaluation should be performed in detail. All patients should be evaluated by a multidisciplinary team consisting of a pediatric neurosurgeon, pediatric hematologist, and a neuroanesthesiologist. Three-dimensional computed tomography is the gold standard radiological method for preoperative planning and postoperative follow-up. The main purpose of the surgical procedures is creating enough space for brain development. Calvarial remodeling that includes fronto-orbital advancement should be performed as the surgical treatment as it provides successful results
