Özet

AMAÇ: Çalışma, böbrek nakli hastalarında depresyon, kaygı, yaşam kalitesi ve sosyal uyumun normapopülasyonla karşılaştırılmasını ve ruhsal iyilik halinin değerlendirilmesini hedefemiştir.GEREÇ ve YÖNTEMLER: Yüz böbrek nakli hastası ve 100 sağlıklı gönüllü çalışmaya alındıSosyodemografk ve laboratuvar değişkenleri kaydedildi. Depresyon ve anksiyete semptomlarınınşiddeti ve yaşam kalitesi, Beck depresyon ölçeği, sürekli ve durumluk kaygı ölçeği ve Kısa form 36 iledeğerlendirildi.BULGULAR: Nakil grubunda kreatinin ve albümin düzeyleri kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı yüksekhemoglobin ve trigliserid düzeyleri anlamlı düşük bulundu. Kontrol grubunda üniversite mezunu veaktif çalışan oranı, nakil grubuna göre daha yüksek, düşük gelir düzeyli oranı daha düşüktü. Nakihastalarının %96sı diyaliz dönemi ile karşılaştırdıklarında nakil sonrası kendini daha iyi hissediyorduHer iki grubun depresyon, durumluk ve sürekli kaygı skorları arasında fark yoktu. Fiziksel ve mentasağlık skorları nakil grubunda kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı düşüktü. Kontrol grubunda fziksefonksiyon, fziksel rol, genel sağlık, sosyal fonksiyon ve emosyonel rol nakil grubuna göre anlamlyüksekti. Nakil grubunda donör tipi, cinsiyet, gelir düzeyi ve eğitim durumlarına göre depresyonoranları, durumluk ve sürekli kaygı skorları arasında fark yoktu. Canlı vericisi olanlarda fziksefonksiyon skoru kadavra vericilere göre daha yüksekti. Kadınlarda Beck depresyon skoru, erkeklerdemental sağlık skoru diğer cinse göre daha yüksekti. Yüksek gelirlilerde fziksel sağlık, fziksel rol veağrı skorları düşük gelirlilere göre daha yüksekti. Emosyonel rol ilköğrenimlilerde, orta ve yükseköğrenimli nakil hastalarına göre daha düşüktü.SONUÇ: Böbrek nakli sonrası hastalar depresyon ve kaygı sıklığı açısından normal popülasyonabenzerken, yaşam kalitesi hala daha düşüktür.

Abstract

OBJEcTIVE: This study aimed to compare depression, anxiety and quality of life in kidney transplantpatients with normal population and to evaluate mental well-being. MATERIAL and METhODS: One hundred renal transplant patients and 100 healthy volunteers wereenrolled in this study. Sociodemographic and laboratory variables were recorded. Severity of depressiveand anxiety symptoms and quality of life were assessed by the Beck Depression Inventory, State-TraitAnxiety Inventory, and Short Form 36 (SF-36), respectively.RESULTS: In the transplantation patients, serum creatinine and albumin levels were signifcantlyhigher than the control group, hemoglobin and triglyceride levels were signifcantly lower. In thecontrol group, the percentages of university graduates and active employees were higher than in thetransplantation group and low-income rate was lower. When compared with the period of dialysis,96% of transplant patients were feeling better after kidney transplantation. There was no differencebetween depression, state and trait anxiety scores in both groups. Physical and mental health scoreswere signifcantly lower in the transplant group. In the control group, physical function, physical role,general health, social function and emotional role were signifcantly higher than the transplant group. Inthe transplant group, donor type, gender, income level and depression rates of educational attainment, state and trait anxiety scores did not differ. Patients with living donor recipients had a higher score of physical function when compared to cadavericdonor recipients. Beck depression score for women and mental health scores for man were signifcantly higher than other species. In high-incomepatients, physical health, physical role and pain scores were higher signifcantly than those of low-incomes. Emotional role in transplant patientswith basic education was lower than in transplant patients with moderate and high level of education.cONcLUSION: After kidney transplantation, patients were similar to the normal population regarding the frequency of depression and anxietybut the quality of life was still lower.
