Özet
AMAÇ: Çalışmanın amacı hemodiyaliz hastalarının psikososyal sorunlarını nasıl algıladıklarını ortayakoymaktır.GEREÇ ve YÖNTEMLER: Çalışma Ankara'daki özel bir diyaliz merkezinde diyalize girmekteolan 12 hasta ile niteliksel araştırma yönteminin derinlemesine görüşme tekniği kullanılarakgerçekleştirilmiştir.BULGULAR: Hemodiyaliz hastalarının hastalık anlatılarından elde edilen verilerin analiz edilmesisonucunda dört tema oluşturulmuştur. Bu temalar; terk edilme, geçmişe duyulan özlem, sosyal destekve arzu edilmeyen cinsel ilişkiye zorlanmadır.SONUÇ: Bu çalışmanın en önemli sonucu; hastaların psikososyal sorunlarına yönelik algılarınınhastaların cinsiyetine göre değişmekle birlikte genel olarak toplumsal cinsiyet perspektifi tarafındanşekillendirilmesidir.
Abstract
OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to reveal the psychosocial problem perceptions of hemodialysispatients.MATERIAL and METHODS: This study was carried out using the in-depth interview technique ofthe qualitative research method with 12 patients in a private dialysis center in Ankara.RESULTS: Four themes were created as a result of analyzing the data obtained from the illnessnarratives. These themes were abandonment, longing for the past, social support and forced undesiredsexual intercourse.CONCLUSION: The most important result of this study was that psychosocial problem perceptionsof the patients vary depending on the patient's gender, but are generally shaped by the societal genderperspective.
