Müşahedat Postmodern Bir Roman mı?

Özet

Bu yazıda, Ahmet Mithat Efendi’nin Müşâhedât adlı romanını postmodern bir roman olarak değerlendiren yazarların iddiaları sorgulanarak sözü edilen romanın postmodern romanla ilişkisi ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılacaktır. Bu çabada, ilk olarak postmodern kavramı üzerinde durulması amaçlanmakta, daha sonra Müşâhedât’ı postmodern bir roman olarak niteleyen yazarlardan kısaca bahsedilecek ve başlıklar hâlinde söz edilen kitabın postmodern romanla ne kadar örtüştüğü sorgulanacaktır.

Abstract

In this article, Ahmet Midhat Efendi’s Muşahedat novel will be discussed in terms of claims that regard the novel as a post-modern work and the relation of the novel with a postmodern novel will also be revealed. In this attempt, first of all, the concept of postmodernism, will be dwelled on and then those authors who define the Muşahedat as postmodern novel will be introduced briefly by focusing on how much the novel overlaps with postmodern novel.
