Havayolunu riske atan büyük tiroit şişkinliği tiroidektomive kalp cerrahisi birlikte planlandığında güçlük yaratabilir.Bu olgularda endüksiyon, entübasyon, intraoperatifyönetim ve ekstübasyon özel dikkat gerektirir.

Abstract

Significant swelling of the thyroid compromisingthe airway can be a challenging situation when combinedthyroidectomy and cardiac surgery is planned. Induction,intubation, intraoperative management, and extubation requirespecial attention in such cases.
