Özet
Bu çalışma, sosyal bilgiler öğretiminde yazılı tarihsel kanıtlar kullanılarak akademik başarının artırılmasını amaçlamaktadır. Bu araştırma yedinci sınıf öğrencileriyle sosyal bilgiler dersinde nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak yürütülmüştür. Nicel araştırma yöntemi olarak deney - kontrol gruplu deneme deseni kullanılmıştır. Bulguların sonuçlarına göre deney grubu öğrencileri kontrol grubundan daha başarılı olmuştur.
Abstract
This study aims to improve students’ academic achievement towards the course of Social Studies teaching. This work employ quantitative research methods and its data collection tools were applied to Year-Seven Social Studies students. The model of controlled-experiement was used as the quantitative research method. The findings reveal that students in the experimental group were academically more succesful than those in the control group.
