Özet

Proteinaz enzimi Candida albicans infeksiyonlarının patogenezinde rol oynayan virulans faktörlerinden biridir. Çalışmamızda çeşitli klinik örneklerden (42 idrar, 11 boğaz, 9 kan, 7 vajen, 1 yara, 5 balgam, 5 gaita ve 6 diğer) izole ettiğimiz 92 C.albicans kökeninin proteinaz aktivitesi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla sığır serum albumin ağar kullanılmıştır. Suşların 17 sinde (%18.5) 1 + ; 42 sinde (%45.6) 2+ değerinde olmak üzere toplam 59 suşda (%64.1) proteinaz aktivitesi saptanmıştır,

Abstract

Proteinase is one of the virulent factors playing a role in the pathogenesis of infections caused by Candida albicans. In our study, the proteinase activity was investigated in 92 C albicans strains isolated from various clinical specimens (42 urine specimens, 11 throat specimens, 9 bloods, 7 vaginal specimens, 7 wounds, 5 sputums, 5 stools and 6 other specimens). For this purpose, bovine serum albumin was used. Proteinase activity was determined in 59 (64.1%) of the strains (+ in 18.5% and + + in 45.6%)
