Enfekte hayvanların 262 (%72.8)'si bir Eimeria türü, 88 (%24.4)'i iki Eimeria türü taşıyıcısıydı. Tek tür ile enfekte hayvanlarda tespit edilen türler E.necatrix(%52.2], E.tenella (%8.3), E.maxima (%6.9), E.mitis(%4.2), E.brunetti (%.l}'âr. Miks enfeksiyon durumu ise şöyledir; E.necatrixile E.tenella 17(%4.7), S.necatrixÛe E.brunetti'3(%0.8), E.necatrix ile E.maxima 17(%4.7), E.necatrixie E.mitis 34(%ç.4), E.tenella ile E.maxima2(%0.6), E.tenella ile E.mitis 11(%3,1), E.maxima ile E.mitis 3(%0.&), E.mitis ile Isospora spp. 1(%0.3). E.mitis, E.maxima ile E.necatrix6(%.7], E.mitis, E.tenella ile E,necatrix4(%.l). Yörede enfeksiyonun yaygınlığı yüksek bulunup, hayvanlarda semptom görülmemiştir.
Abstract
Incidence of coccidiosis and determination of Eimeria species in rural chickens produced in Bursa region were determined, A total of 673 fecal samples from 25 villages were examined using the flotation and the modified McMaster method. The oocysts were identified by their morphological characteristics. According to the results of this research, 360(53.5%) chickens out of 673 were infected. Of these, 262 (72.8%) infected animals were the carriers of only one Eimeria species, and 88 of them were the carriers of two Eimeria species (24.4%). The incidence of each species was as follows: E. necatrix (52.2%), E.tenella (8.3%), E.maxima (6.9%), E.mitis (4.2%), E.brunetti (1.1%) in the single infections. The results also showed that the mixed infection rates were as follows; E.necatrixvıiûı E.tenella, 17(4.7%); S.necatrix ile E.brunetti. 3(0.8%); E.necatrix with E.maxima. 17(4.7%); E.necatrix with E.mitis, 34(9.4%); E.tenella with E.maxima, 2(0.6%); E.tenella with. E.mitis, 11(3.1%); E.maxima with E.mitis, 3(0.8%); E.mitis with Isospora spp., 1(0.3%); E.mitisand E.maxima with E.necatrix, 6(1.7%); and finally, E.mitis and E.tenella with E.necatrix, 4(1.1%). The incidence of infection in the region was considered to be high although no symptoms were observed in the infected animals,
