Kayseri yöresinde tropikal theileriosis'in istatiksel analizi

Özet

Bu çalışmayla Kayseri yöresinde tropikal theileriosis'le ilgili elde edilen epidemiyolojik verilerin istatistiksel analizi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla Mayıs 1997-Kasım 1998 arasında (2 theileriosis mevsiminde) Kayseri'nin 12 ilçesinde 0-1 (Kategori-I) ve l yaşın üzerinde (Kategori- II), farklı ırklarda, aşılı ve aşısız toplam 866 sığır üzerinde saha ve laboratuar çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyse the epidemiological data of tropical theileriosis found in the area around Kayseri. For this purpose, field and laboratory studies were performed on 866 cattle of various breeds, vaccinated or unvaccinated, and placed in 2 categories as follows: Category-I, 0-1 year of age and Category-II, over 1 year old). The study was carried out in 12 towns around Kayseri during two succeeding theileriosis seasons. Statistically significant differences were found between the microscopical and serological findings for positivity and negativity (x2=177.43, p< 0.001).
