Özet

Araştırmada Bursa il sınırları içerisinde, değişik merkezlere bağlı köylere gidilerek, 628 adet tavuk ve 67 horoz bit yönünden incelenmiştir.%70 lik alkol içerisine toplanan bitler laboratuvara getirilip tür teşhisleri morfolojik özelliklerine bakılarak, bu yöntemle tür teşhisi yapılamayanlar ise methyl benzoat içerisinde şeffaflandırıldıktan sonra tür teşhisleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan muayeneler sonucunda 373 (%59.4) tavuk ve 54 (%80.6) horoz değişik bit türleriyle enfeste bulunmuştur. Tavuklarda, Menopon gallinae (%53.5), Menopon stramineus (%6.3), Menopon comutus (%4.5), Goniodes dissimilis (%1.4), Goniocotes hologaster (%15.6), Goniocotes gigas (%0.2), Lipeurus heterographus (%1.0), Lipeurus caponis (%0.3) türlerine, horozlarda M. gallinae (%79.1), M.stramineus (%6.0), M.cornutus (%7.5), G.hologaster (%11.9), L. caponis (%1.5) türlerine rastlanmıştır. İstatistiki açıdan mevsimler arası enfestasyon farkı önemli olmayıp (p>0.05), tavuk ve horozlar arasındaki enfestasyon farkı anlamlı bulunmuştur (p

Abstract

In this research, 628 chicken, and 67 cocks were examined for lice in villages located in the province of Bursa. Species of lice, which were collected, were treated with 70% alcohol in the laboratory in order to identify them by their morphological characteristics. Also, unidentified species were also treated with methyl benzoate in order to make them transparent for identification. As the result of the investigation, 373 (59.4%) chickens, and 54 (80.6%) cocks were found to be infested by species of lice. Menopon gallinae (53.5%), Menopon stramineus (6.3%), Menopon comutus (4.5%), Goniodes dissimilis (1.4%), Goniocotes hologaster (15.6%), Goniocotes gigas (0.2%), Lipeurus heterographus (1.0%), and Lipeurus caponis (0.3%) were found on the chickens. M.gallinae (79.1%), M.stramineus (6.0%), M.comutus (7.5%), G.hologaster (11.9%), and Lcaponis (1.5%) were found on the cocks. As the result of the study, it was found that the difference in infestation in different seasons was insignificant. However, the difference in infestation, between chicken and cocks was statistically significant.
