Özet

Bu çalışma Erciyes Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Kliniklerine aşı veya tedavi için getirilmiş köpekler üzerinde yapılmıştır. Toplam 91 köpekten tekniğine uygun olarak kan alınıp serumları elde edilmiştir. Bu serumlar Toxoplasma gondii spesifik antikorlarının varlığı yönünden incelenmiş ve 45 (%49.5)'i seropozitif bulunmuştur. Seropozitif köpeklerin 19 (%42.2)'u 1/16, 16(%35.6)'sı 1/64,7 (%15.6)'si 1/256 ve 3 (%6.7)'ü 1/1024 sulandırma basamağında seropozitif bulunmuştur.

Abstract

This study was carried out on dogs which were brought in for vaccination and treatment. A total of 91 dogs were tested for the presence of Toxoplasma gondii specific antibodies using the Sabin-Feldman dye test (SFDT). Forty-five (49.5%) of the 91 dogs were found to be seropositive for T. gondii specific antibodies. Titers of 1/16, 1/64,1/256 and 1/1024 were measured in 19 (42.2%), 16 (35.6%), 7 (15.6%), and 3 (6.7%) of the seropositive dogs, respectively.
