Elazığ yöresindeki yabani tavşanlarda ektoparazit türlerinin yaygınlığı

Özet

Bu araştırma, Ekim 1999-Mart 2000 tarihleri arasında Elazığ ve çevresindeki yabani tavşanlarda ektoparazitlerin yayılışlarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada, toplam 38 yabani tavşan kullanılmıştır. İncelenen tavşanların 27'si (%71.05) çeşitli ektoparazit türleri ile enfeste bulunmuştur. Enfeste tavşanlarda beş tür ektoparazit tesbit edilmiştir. Bunlardan; Cheyletiella parasitivorax %33.33, Rhipicephalus bursa (nimf) %25.93, Haemaphysalis otophila (nimf) %22.22, Trombicula autumnalis (larva) %3.70, Ctenocephalides canis %14.82 oranlarında yaygın bulunmuştur. Tavşanlardan toplam 23 adet akar, dört adet pire olmak üzere 27 adet ektoparazit toplanmıştır.

Abstract

This study was undertaken to detect the prevalence of species of ectoparasites on wild rabbits in Elazığ, between October 1999 to March 2000. Thirty-eight wild rabbits were examined in this study. Out of the 38 rabbits examined, 27 (71.05 %) were found to have 5 species of ectoparasites. These species were identified as follows: Cheyletiella parasitivorax (33.33%), Rhipicephalus bursa (nymph) (25.92%), Haemaphysalis otophila (nymph) (22.22%), Trombicula autumnalis (larva) (3.70%), and Ctenocephalides canis (14.81%). Twenty-three mites and four fleas were found on the infested rabbits, making a total of twenty-seven ectoparasites.
