Özet
Amaç: Kist hidatik hem dünya hem de ülkemiz için önemli bir zoonoz hastalıktır. Bu çalışma, Kars Belediye mezbahasının bildirdiği kayıtlar esas alınarak elde edilen 2010 yılı verileri doğrultusunda kistik ekinokokkozisin yaygınlığı, mevsimsel dağılımı ve ekonomik öneminin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Yöntemler: Ocak-Aralık 2010 ayları arasında Kars Belediyesi mezbahasında kesilen 3.846 sığıra ait kayıtlar incelenmiştir.Bulgular: Kars Belediyesi mezbahasında kesilen 3.846 sığırın 203'ünde (%5.3) kistik ekinokokkozis saptanmıştır. Abstract
Objective: Cystic echinococcosis is a very important zoonotic disease both for the World and Turkey. This study was performed to determine the prevalence, seasonal distribution and economic importance of Cystic echinococcosis by using the data provided from the 2010 records of the Kars Municipal Abattoir. Methods: In this retrospective study, the records of 3.846 cattle slaughtered at the Kars Municipal Abattoir between January and December 2010 were investigated.Results: In this study, 3.846 cattle were examined.
