Özet
Median sinirin saf motor dalı olan anterior interrosseöz sinir (AİS); fleksör pollisis longus, pronator kuadratus ve 2.-3. fleksör digitorum profundus kaslarını innerve eder. Seyri boyunca çeşitli nedenlerle hasara uğrayabilir. Bu yazıda ön kol kaslarının aşırı kullanımı sonucu AİS hasarına bağlı gelişen AİS Sendromu bulunan 55 yaşındaki erkek olgu sunulmuş, sendromun nedenleri, tanısı ve tedavisi gözden geçirilmiştir. Abstract
The anterior interrosseous nerve (AIN), which is a pure motor branch of the median nerve, innervates the flexor pollicis longus, pronator quadratus and second and third flexor digitorum profundus muscles. It may be damaged in various sites along its pathway. In this report, we present a 55-year-old male with AIN syndrome due to overuse of the forearm muscles. In addition, the causes, diagnosis and treatment of this syndrome are reviewed. Turk J Phys Med Rehab 2008;54:30-2.
