Özet

Bu çalışmada Ankara'nın Kızılcahamam (Gökdere) ilçesinde Verbascum türleri üzerinde toplanan Melitaea didyma Esp. (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae) tırtıllarının parazitoiti Erycia fasciata Villeneuve'nın tanımı yapılmış, baş kanat, abdomen ve erkek genitalia'sı çizilmiş literatür yardımı ile dünyadaki dağılışı ve biyolojisi ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. Etycia cinsi ve E. fasetata' nın Türkiye için yeni kayıt olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract

In this study, the caterpillars of Melitaea didyma Esp. (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae) feed on Verbascum spp. were reared under laboratory conditions and hence Erycia fasciata a parasitoid of M. didyma was obtained. The parasitoid species was identified, and its head; wing, abdomen from male specimens and male genitalia were illustrated. Distribution and some biological aspects of the parasitoid were also given. It was concluded that the genus Erycia and E. fasciata were recorded for the first time from Turkey.
