INTONATION (DEFINITION AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE FUNCTIONS)

Özet

Araştırma, tonlamanın semantik ve estetik fonksiyonlarının tanımlanmasına yöneliktanımlayıcı ve analitik yaklaşımı araştırıyor; antik ve modern anlatımlara dayanarak,dilbilimsel bağlamda, özellikle ifade ve gramer ifadelerinde tonlamanın fonksiyonlarınıaçıkladık. Soru aracı ve çağrı aracı gibi silinen ifadelerin anlamını anlama ve telafietmeye yarayan dilbilgisel bir hipotez, koşul cümlesi bölümlerini açıklığa kavuşturma vemadde cümlesini silme, cevabın cümlesini silme ve birlikte silme gibi nelerin silindiği açıklamada bir rolü vardır. Ayrıca bir silme hatası olabilirde bazen. İbn- Sina'nıntonlamayı konuşulan kelime mesajını analiz etmekte kullandığını ve operatif konuşmaanalizinde modern Batı dilbilimi tarafından doğrulanan vokal estetik gösterisinde dilseliletişimdeki önemini vurguladığı ortaya çıkmıştır .

Abstract

This research traces back the origin of tone and what is it for ancient and modernscholars of Arabic language; and theorists. This analytical descriptive research aims atidentifying the significance and aesthetic functions. It depends on what the ancient andmodern scholars put. It shows the functions of toning in the linguistic context especiallyfor the semantic and syntactic significances. Hence, toning is considered as a syntacticclue that helps to understand meaning and replaces some omitted utterances such asquestion words and the addressing article. It also has a role in clarifying thecomponents of conditionals and justifies the omission of some parts of the conditionalssuch as the omission of the if clause or the main sentence in a conditional; or even inomitting both of them. It is also behind the omission of adjectives. It is proved that it issometimes the reason for omission. Add to that, Avicenne used toning to analyze thespoken messages and stressed its importance in linguistic communication and inshowing the beauty of phonetics. That was proved by modern Western linguists whoanalyze the spoken discourse.
