Abstract

In this study, The Crimes freeing of animals risking others lives those statedin Article 177 of Turkish Penal Code as Any person who frees an animal under his/ her custody in such a way to risk others life and health, or fails to take the necessaryprecautions while the animal is under his/her control, is punished with imprisonmentup to six months, or imposed punitive fine is generally taken into consideration andthe situation when this crime is committed on highways or motorways is intended toinvestigate in the light of; the resolutions of Supreme Court of Appeals and in wheredescribed as a minor crime; Highway Traffic Code (code no 2918) Article 69 under thetitle The provisions concerning animal riders, vehicles which are pulled by animalsor driven with the use of hand.
