Özet
Bütün ümidim gençliktedir diyen Atatürk, kurduğu cumhuriyeti de gençliğe emanet etmiştir. Bu görevi yerine getirmenin birinci yolu da gençliğin iyi bir şekilde yetiştirilmesidir. Bu yüzden Atatürk, gençliğin eğitimine büyük önem vermiştir. Daha Milli Mücadele devam ederken 1921 yılında Ankara’da bir eğitim kongresi toplamış ve kazanılacak zaferden sonra kurulacak yeni Türk devletinin eğitim programlarını belirlemiştir. Gençliğin yetiştirilmesinde öğretmenin yanı sıra okulun da önemli bir yeri olduğunu düşünen Atatürk, öğretmenlerin görevinin okulla sınırlı olmadığını söylemiş, öğretmenlerin okul dışında da gençlerin eğitimiyle ilgilenmeleri gerektiğini belirtmiştir. Nutuk adlı eserinin sonunda gençliğe seslenerek onlara olan güvenini bir kez daha açıklayan Atatürk’ün yurt gezileri sırasında ziyaret ettiği yerlerin başında okullar gelmiştir. Bu okullarda fırsat buldukça derslere katılmış, gençlerin eğitimleriyle bizzat ilgilenmiştir.
Abstract
Atatürk had given the republic as a gift to the youngs that he esatablished while telling all my hopes are together with the young people. The first step to achieve this aim is giving the satisfactory educational knowledge to young people. Therefore, Atatürk had paid a great attention to the training of young people. While National Struggle was keeping on, in 1921 an educational congress had been gathered in Ankara and the new education system for new Turkish republic which will be established after the glory was determined. While Atatürk was considering the schools also important together with teaching system, by the way he said that the mission of the teachers are not limited only within the schools and they must be interested in training of the young people also out of the schools. At the end of his art which is called as “Nutuk(Oration)” Atatürk had indicated his confidence to young Turkish people one more time by giving advises to them while he was also visiting firstly the schools during his native trips within the country. He had joined to the lessons whenever he had time and he had been interested in the training of youngs personally by himself.
