Özet

Servet-i Fünûn sadece edebi bakımdan değil; aynı zamanda sanat tarihi, teknik, eğitim vb. pek çok alanda da bir hazinedir. Yayın hayatına başladığı 1891 yılından yayın hayatına son verdiği 1944 yılına kadar, Türkiye'nin saltanat, meşrutiyet, cumhuriyet dönemlerini görmüş bu yönetim sistemlerinin mimariye bakışlarını, bu alanda yapılanları hem görsel hem de yazılı olarak sayfalarına yansıtmıştır. Servet-i Fünun Dergisi'nde hem mimari eserlerle ilgili yazılarda hem de makalelerde geniş bir sanat tarihi terminolojisi kullanılmıştır. Bu terminolojinin ne kadarının derginin yayın hayatına girmesinden önce kullanıldığı ve ne kadarının derginin kendisi kullanıma sunduğu ayrı bir araştırma konusudur. Bu bağlamda kendi dönemi içinde çok köklü bir fikri ve toplumsal temeli olduğunu söyleyemeyeceğimiz, henüz daha yeni yeni hecelenen müzecilik, arkeoloji, arkeolojik kazı, güzel sanatlar gibi farklı alanlarda yazılar ve görseller içermesi, derginin geniş bir ufuk açısına sahip olduğunu göstermektedir

Abstract

Servet-i Fünun Journal is not only literary, but also the history of art, technology, training, etc. but also a treasure in many areas.
