ÇEŞMELİ MİNARELER

Özet

Şekillerini kutsal bir amaca ya da haberleşmeye dayalı olarak yaptırılmış kulelerden aldığı düşünülen minareler, farklı şekil, boyut, malzeme ve süsleme unsurlarıyla karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Yerleşim yerlerine göre şadırvan çeşmeler, sütun çeşmeler, meydan ve iskele çeşmeleri, duvar/cephe çeşmeleri şeklinde gruplara ayrılmaktadır. Ayrıca üstünde minare şerefesi olan çeşmelerde bulunmaktadır. Yapılan çalışmalarda, minarelerin, konum, şekil, boyut, malzeme ve süsleme özellikleri bakımından incelendiği ancak çeşme ve sebil gibi başka bir yapı ile birlikte tasarlanmaları ve çift fonksiyon özellikleri üzerinde çok az durulduğu görülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, minare ve çeşme olmak üzere iki farklı fonksiyonun tek bir yapıda birleştiği çeşmeli minareleri tanıtmak ve bu tip su yapılarını içinde barındıran minare örneklerini kısaca incelemek hedeflenmiştir.

Abstract

The minarets, which are thought to have taken their shape from towers built on a sacred purpose or communication purpose, come up with very different shape, size, material and ornamentation elements. The fountains were divided into groups according to settlements, such as columned fountains, square and pier fountains, wall/facade fountains. There are also fountains with minaret balconies. In the studies, it is seen that the minarets are examined in terms of their position, shape, size, material and ornamentation characteristics; however the designs that consist of another structure such as fountain and sebil, and the features of dual function are less emphasized. In this study, it is aimed to introduce the minarets with fountain, which two different functions such as minaret and fountain come together in a single structure, and briefly examine the minarets which contain these types of water structures.
