ÇEVRE SORUNLARINA DUYARLILIK: HATAY'DA BİR UYGULAMA

SENSITIVITY FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS: THE CASE STUDY FOR HATAY PROVINCE IN TURKEY

Özet

İnsanların sağlıklı bir çevrede yaşaması hemen her dönem arzu edilen bir olgu olmakla beraber, yaşadığımız çevrenin her zaman sağlıklı olmadığı aşikardır. Çevre sorunlarının birden bire ortaya çıkmadığı, bu sorunları tetikleyen birçok faktörün olduğu söylenebilir. Özellikle yaşam biçimlerinin, kültürel farklılıkların, alışkanlıkların, eğitim düzeylerinin sosyo-ekonomik imkânların bu faktörlerin başında geldiği söylenebilir. İşte Hatay ölçeğinde yapılan bu saha çalışması, Hatay'daki çevre sorunlarında yerel halkın duyarlılığının nasıl olduğunu ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, Hatay ölçeğinde çevresel konulara karşı bireysel ve toplumsal duyarlılık veya toplumun bakış açısının nasıl olduğu, bu duyarlılık için yerel halkın davranış, algı ve beklentilerinin neler olduğu, anket yöntemiyle elde edilen veriler çerçevesinde irdelenmiştir.

Abstract

People's living in a healthy environment has been a desirable phenomenon in almost every period. However, it is obvious that the environment we live in is not always healthy. It is a well-known fact that environmental problems do not arise only at individual level. Hence, it can be said that there are many factors that trigger these problems in a society. Among these factors, some items such as life styles, cultural differences, habits, socio-economic opportunities of education levels come first. In this study; a field study on Turkey's Hatay province scale will be performed, and it aims to reveal the sensitivity of local people to the environmental problems in Hatay. In this context, the individual and social sensitivities towards the environmental issues on the scale of Hatay, how the viewpoint of the society is, and the behaviour, perceptions and expectations of the local people for this sensitivity are examined in a scope under the related questionnaire survey.
