Tropisetron ve ondansetronun cisplatine bağlı bulantı ve kusmayı önleyici etkilerinin karşılaştırılması

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı cisplatin içeren kemoterapi uygulamalarında tropiselron ve ondansetronun et-kinliğini ve yan etkilerini karşılaştırmaktır. Değişik organ tümörleri olan 81 hastaya random izasyonla. anliemelik verilmiş ve ilk kemoterapi uygulamasında değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Bulantı ve kusmanın lam kontrolü tropisetronda %39, ondansetronda %37.5 oranlarında (p=0.82), majör etkinlik (tam ya-nıt + parsiyelyanıt) ise sırasıyla %75.6 ve %72.5 oranlarında gerçekleşmiştir (p=0.74). Her iki ilaçta başağrısı ve kabızlık en fazla karşılaşılan yan etkilerdir. Sonuç olarak, tropiselron ve ondansetron bu-lantı ve kusma profilaksisinde başarılıdır ve aralarında etkinlik açısından anlamlı fark bulunmamış-tır.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the antiemetic effectiveness and side effects of on-dansetron and tropisetron following cisplatin based chemotherapy. Eighty-one patients with different types of solid tumors were given antiemetic therapy with randomisation and were evaluated at the first cycle of chemotherapy. Nausea and vomiting complete response rate was 39% for tropisetron and 37.5% for ondansetron Cp=0.82) where major efficiency were found as 75.6% and 72.5%, respectively (p=0.74). Headache and constipation were the major side effects for both of the drugs. In conclusion, there were no significant differences in the efficiency of the two drugs and both of them were effective for the che-motherapy induced nausea and vomiting.
