İşitme cihazı performanslarının objektif analizi

Özet

Giriş: Bu çalışmada analog işitme cihazlarının performanslarının analiz edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem ve Gereç: Çalışmaya kullandığı analog işitme cihazından şikayetçi olan hastalar dahil edilmiştir. Cihaz kullanımı için teknik yardım ve eğitim desteği ile şikayetleri giderilen hastalar çalışma dışında tutulmuştur. İşitme cihazlarının performansları objektif olarak işitme cihazı invitro kazanç analizleriyle değerlendirilmiştir.Bulgular: Sağladıkları frekans cevapları ve maksimum kazançlara bakıldığında bütün hastaların işitme cihazları yetersiz bulunmuştur. Hem subjektif hem de objektif yöntemlerle seçilen yeni işitme cihazlarıyla yüksek performans elde edilmiştir. Takip dönemi boyunca yeni işitme cihazından şikayet eden hasta olmamıştır.Sonuç: İnvitro işitme cihazı analizleri ve kazanç ölçümleri pratik ve objektif değerlendirme yöntemleridir. Bu analiz ve ölçümler ülkemizdeki rutin odyolojik uygulamalar arasındaki yerini almalıdır.

Abstract

Introduction: In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the performance of hearing aids. Materials and Method: Patients who have suffered from their analog hearing aids were included in this study. The patients whose sufferings were eliminated after technical help and educational support for their hearing aids were excluded. The performance of hearing aids was objectively analyzed by insertion gain measurements.Results: Hearing aids of all patients were found to be insufficient with respect to frequency response and full-on gain. High performance was noted for the new hearing aids that were selected by subjective and objective methods. There were no patients suffering from their new hearing aids, during the follow-up.Conclusion: Hearing aid analysis and insertion gain measurements are the practical and objective methods of hearing aids' evaluation. These methods should take place in routine audiological practice in our country.
