Özet

Bu çalışmada cerrahi menopoz sonrasında ortaya çıkan ani overyan hormon eksikliğinin okuler hemodinamikler üzerine etkilerinin araştırılması amaçlandı.Materyal ve Metod: Çalışmaya benzer yaş ve sosyodemografik özelliklere sahip, premenopozal dönemde, bening nedenlerle histerektomi + bilateral salpingooferektomi (n:13) ve sadece histerektomi yapılan (n:12) olgular dahil edildi. Tüm hastaların operasyondan iki gün önce ve postoperatif 5. günlerde santral retinal arter ve oftalmik arter doppler incelemesi ile pulsatil indeks, resistans indeks, sistol / diastol oranları belirlendi. Preoperatif ve postoperatif değerler karşılaştırıldı. İstatistiksel yöntem olarak Mann Whitney U ve Wilcoxon Rank testleri kullanıldı. P

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effects of ovarian hormone deficiency that develops abruptly in surgical menopause cases on ocular hemodynamics. Material and method: The study included pre-menopausal cases, at similar ages and with similar demographic characteristics, who had either hysterectomy + bilateral salpingoophorectomy (n:13) or only hysterectomy (n:12) for benign reasons. Doppler examinations of the central retinal artery and the ophthalmic artery were used to determine pulsatile index, resistance index and systole/diastole rates of all cases in the pre-operative period and on the 5th post-operative day.
