Özet
Kısa etki süresi ve ender yan etkileri nedeniyle propofol özellikle günübirlik cerrahide yaygın kullanılan bir anesteziktir. Propofol uygulaması sonrası gelişen anormal hasta hareketleri ve nöbet benzeri aktiviteler yurtdışından çeşitli kaynaklarda bildirilmiştir. Biz bu olgu sunumunda propofol ile indüksiyonu yapılan elektif histeroskopi planlanmış 27 yaşındaki kadın hastada operasyon bitiminden 10 dk. sonra uyanma odasında gelişen uzamış miyoklonik hareketleri tartışmak istedik.
Abstract
Since propofol is a short acting anesthetic drug with fewer side effects, it is a commonly used as an anesthetic agent especially in day care surgery. Abnormal patient movements and seizure like activity after administration of propofol have been reported from several countries. İn this case report, we disscused prolonged myoclonic movements in a 27 year- old woman 10 min after the completion of elective histeroscopy. in the postoperative care (PACU) unit.
