Tüberküloz, büyük bir küresel sağlık sorunu olmaya devam etmektedir. Ülkelerin kalkınmalarındaki engelleri aşmak için 2000 yılında düzenlenen Birleşmiş Milletler Milenyum Zirvesi'nde benimsenen Binyıl Kalkınma Hedefleri'nin (Millennium Development Goals), önceliklerinden biri tüberkülozdur. Tüberkülozla ilgili hedefler, tüberküloz kontrolünün etkinliğini ölçmek için kullanılan sonuç göstergeleridir. Türkiye'de ulusal tüberküloz kontrol programı kapsamında yapılan etkin faaliyetlerle 2015 yılı gelmeden "Binyıl Kalkınma Hedefleri" ve "Stop TB Strateji Hedefleri"nin tamamı yakalanmıştır

Abstract

Tuberculosis still continues to be a globally major health problem. The one of the priorities of Millennium Development Goals, which was adopted by "United Nations Summit" in 2000 to overcome the obstacles in the development of countries is tuberculosis. The targets about the tuberculosis are the outcome indicators which are used to evaluate of effectiveness in tuberculosis's control. By the effective activities of the national tuberculosis control program; the "Millennium Development Goals" and "Stop TB Strategy Goals" have been completely achieved in Turkey before 2015
