The Development Period of Tourism with Natural and Human Factors That Make Tourism Attractive in Foça

Abstract

In this research, geographical features that make tourism attractive and diverse in Foça were analyzed. At the same time, the historical development of tourism in Foça and whether the human environment is sociologically and culturally inclined in tourism have been questioned. According to the findings, elevated, geomorphology, temperature values, land cover and vegetation vary in Foça. Changing the parameters in question is also an opportunity for tourist activities to variety here. In this context, areas where the elevate is high, vegetation density is high and the temperature is relatively low can be brought to tourism as hiking trails, biosphere reserve areas, clean air tank, recreation areas that offer the opportunity to cool down during hot periods. As a result, tourism activities in Foça began to show thems themses in the 1960s. In Foça, the impact of tourism in the economy, urbanization, population structure, education and culture is increasing day by day. At the point reached today, the number of tourists coming to Foça is increasing with its history, natural sites, archaeology, rich biodiversity nature and air conditioning comfort suitable for marine tourism. With the management, planning and diversification of tourism, tourism revenues coming to Foça will increase more. In the totality of all this, it is possible to indicate that Foça's tendency to become a "Touristic City" will be strengthened in the following years. It is important to carefully reconsider all aspects of the infrastructure, especially the secondary residences, in order to develop sustainable tourism and become a destination that has been developed for future generations.
