Mehmet Akif'te eğitimin temel unsuru olarak öğretmenlik

Özet

Eğitim, insanlık tarihi boyunca üzerinde en çok konuşulan konulardan biri olmuş, zaman içinde düşünüş ve İhtiyaçlara göre gelişip şekillenmiştir. Milletler, kurumlar ve kişiler, kendi felsefelerine uygun eğitim stratejileri ortaya koymuş ve bunlarla insanlığın gelişimini amaçlamışlardır. Bunlardan biri biri de modem Türk Edebiyati'mn en önemli isimlerinden Mehmet Akif Erso/dur. Akif, derdi milleti olan ve kendinden ziyade milletinin mutluğunu kendine dert edinmiş bir şair, münevver, fikir adamı, vaiz, hatip, mücadele inşam ve öğretmendir. Edebiyatı, milletine hizmet etmek ve onları eğitmek için bir vasıta olarak kullanan Akifin Safahafında, yazılarında ve vaazlarında dile getirdiği meşeleler, bugün de göz önünde bulundurulması gereken ve her sahada istifade edebileceğimiz konulardır. Aynı zamanda kendisi de bir eğitimci olan Akif İn eğitim ile ilgili görüşleri, diğer pek çok görüşü gibi, her devirde geçerliliğini koruyan düşüncelerdir.

Abstract

The Ottoman Empire, which understood, it lost its former power along with the effect of its large loss of land since the 18* century, recognized the necessity of keeping up with the age, modernizing and developing. This awakening conducted the Otoman Empire to new searches and to find out solution proposals together with its peoples from every region. Since this modernization movement which was started on the political, military and judicial fields by the Empire itself, was adopted as a social responsibility, it started to indicate its influences in every area. Especially for the reason that the idea that the improvements to be realized on the education area will conduce towards serious developments in the community, became widespread among the people, every idea thought to serve to the education, put into words in various gathering places. Also the litterateurs had had the aim of serving on the education subject with all their strength. When looked at this period, it can be seen that the education was served from two ways in the literary community; it draws the attention that the poets or the authors both became teachers and also mentioned various educational matters in their works. Among the litterateurs Mehmed Akif Ersoy drew our attention from the point view of their contributions to the education. His practice on the subject of the education matter and his service for the education through his works, became essentials in our study. He was seen to has views and practices both in his works and in his life of being as teacher on the matters of the aim of the education, its nature, elements, the problems of the education and the ways of solution to eliminate these problems.
