Özet

Modern romana getirdiği yeniliklerle roman anlayışında ciddi değişiklikler yapan Marcel Proust, varlıkların ve nesnelerin derinliklerinde sakladıkları gerçeği kavramaya çalışmıştır. Sıradan insanların bu gerçeği göremeyeceğine ve yalnız sanatçıların bu gerçeği kavrayabileceğine ve sıradan insanlara gösterebileceğine inanan yazar, eserlerinde resim, müzik, mimari, edebiyat gibi sanatları ele almış ve sanatçı karakterler kullanmıştır. En büyük eseri olan A la Recherche du Temps Perdu(Kaybolan Zamanın Peşinde) güzel sanatlarla ilgili birçok örnek içermektedir. Ayrıca eserlerinde klasik roman anlayışını derinden sarsacak birçok yenilik de kullanan Proust, modern romana adeta yeni bir yol açmıştır. Bu çalışmada yalnızca Proust’un güzel sanatları nasıl kullandığı konusu üzerinde durulmaktadır. Öncelikle Proust’un roman anlayışına değinilmekte daha sonra resim, müzik, mimari ve edebiyatı kullanımını incelenmektedir. Çalışma Prosut’un eserlerinden ve diğer referanslardan seçilen örneklerle desteklenmektedir.

Abstract

Marcel Proust, who made radical changes in the conception of novel with new features he brings to the Modern Roman, tried to grasp the reality that is hidden in the depths of beings and objects. Writer, who believes that ordinary people can not see this truth but only artists can grasp this reality and they can show it ordinary people, studied the arts such as painting, music, architecture, literature and used artists characters in his works. His greatest work, A la Recherche du Temps Perdu contains many examples of the fine arts. Also Proust who uses many new features changing the classical novel concept, has led to almost a new modern novel. It only focuses on the issue how Proust uses the fine arts in this study. Firstly, the conception of Proust's novel is mentioned, later the use of painting, music, architecture and literature examined. The study is supported by examples from the works of Proust and other references.
