SAĞLIK ÇALIŞANLARINA UYGULANAN ŞİDDET: KİLİS İLİ ÖRNEĞİ

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı Kilis Devlet Hastanesi ve Kilis 112AcilKomutaistasyonlarındaçalışanhekim,hemşire,ebe, acil tıp teknisyen/teknikeri, sağlık tekniker/ teknisyeni ve tıbbı sekreterlerin şiddet ile karşılaşma sıklığıveşiddetalgısınınsaptanmasıdır. Araştırmanınö rneklemibukurumlardagö revyapan49 hekim, 76 hemşire, 19 ebe, 21 acil tıp teknisyeni/ teknikeri,33sağlıktekniker/teknisyeni,54tıbbısekreterolmak ü zere toplam 252 sağlık çalışanından oluş- maktadır. Haziran ve Temmuz 2013 arasında yapılan araştırma, kesitsel tiptedir. Veriler anket uygulaması yoluyla toplanmış, SPSS paket programı kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Sağlık çalışanlarının çalışma yaşamı boyuncaişyerinde herhangibirşiddettü rü ilekarşılaşmaoranı%74.6dır. En çok karşılaşılan şiddet tü rleri sö zlü tehdit (%41), sö zlü taciz (%39), iziksel tehdit (%17) ve sö zlü cinsel taciz(%3)dir. Sağlık çalışanlarına gö re sağlıkta şiddetinnedenleri, şiddetin cezasız kalması (%15), uygulanansağlık politikaları (%13), hasta ve yakınlarının ihmal edildiklerinidü şü nmeleri(%13),medyadakiyanlış haberler (%12) ve gü ven yetersizliği (%12) olduğu saptanmıştır. Şiddetemaruz kalan sağlık çalışanlarının %63.9unun işlem yapılmadığı için şiddet sonrası herhangi birşikâ yettebulunmadığı;işlemyapılmasıdurumunda isegeneldeö zü r-uzlaştırma(%46.1)vegü venlik vasıtasıyla saldırganı uzaklaştırmayla (%28.1) sonuçlandığısaptanmıştır. Diğermeslekgruplarıilekarşılaştırıldığındadahayü ksekdü zeyde olan sağlık çalışanlarına şiddet, hizmetiçi ve toplumsal eğitimler, kamusal ve hukuksal dü zenlemelerle azaltılabilecektir.
Abstract
The aim of this study is detection of the confrontation frequency and sense of violence of nurses, doctors, midwives, emergency medical technicians and medical secretaries at Kilis State Hospital and Kilis 112 Emergency Command Center. This sample of research consisted of 49 doctors, 76 nurses, 19 midwives, 21 emergency medical technicians, 33 health technicians, 54 medical secretaries at this institution and who were 252 health professionals. This is a cross-sectional study conducted between June and July 2013. Data were collected through questionnaires and evaluated us by the SPSS statistical package programme. Health professionals (encounter with any type of violence rate) in the workplace during working life is 74.6%. The most common type of violence, were verbal threats (41%), verbal abuse (39%), physical threats (17%), and verbal sexual harassment (3%). According to health workers, reasons of violence at health sector are deprivation of punishment (15%) , the health policies applied (13%), neglection the idea of patients and their relatives (13%), false news in mass media (12%), deprivation of con idence (12%). 63.9% of health care workers exposed to violence did not have complaints after the violence due to inaction; in the case of activity the situation was ended with atonement reconciliation (46.1%) and removing the attacker by security (28.1%). Compared with other occupational groups, the higher levels of exposure to violence among health professionals may be reduced with in-service and community educations, public and legal arrangements.
