Türkiye'de yüksek din öğretimi: Nicelik mi nitelik mi?

Özet

Bilindiği gibi son birkaç senedir, ülkemizde hem ilahiyat fakültelerininsayısında hem de öğrenci sayısında ciddi artışlar yaşanmaktadır. ancakbu artışla birlikte kalite ve nitelik konusunda önemli düşüşler yaşanmaktadır. İşte bu makale önce, öğrenci sayılarındaki artış, bölümsorunu,devam sorunu, dersle rin niteliği ve sayısı, değerlendirmeşekli,dersişlenişlerindeizlenenmetot ve yöntem konuları açısından ilahiyat fakültelerinin mevcut durumunu ele ala rak, daha sonra çağdaş dünyadaki ilahiyat fakültelerinden örnekler vererek ideal bir ilahiyat fakültesinin nasıl olması gerektiği konusunda bazı ipuçları vermeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla makalede, ABD, Kanada ve İngilterede bulunanilahiyat fakültelerindeki lisans ve lisansüstü ders programları ele alınarak mevcut durumumuz incelenmeye çalışılacaktır. Makale bazı önerilerle sona ermektedir.

Abstract

As it is known, there is a great increase in both in the number of faculty oftheologies and students in our country in recent times. However, there is aserious decrease in the quality of these faculties with this increase. This arti‐ cle examines the current situation of the faculty of theologies in terms of theincrease of the number of students, the question of department, the questionof attending to the faculty and discipline, the content and the quality of thecourses, the style of evaluation of the courses, and methods and techniquesfollowed in the courses. Then, giving some examples from faculties of theolo‐ gy in the contemporary world, it compares Turkish religious education sys‐ tem with other world faculties of theology and it advocates ideal faculties oftheology in Turkey.
