Özet
1869 yılında hazırlanan Maârif-i Umûmiyye Nizâmnâmesiyle birlikte idâdi mektepleri Osmanlı eğitim sisteminde ortaöğretim kurumu olarak yer almaya başlamıştır. İdâdiler, rüşdiye mekteplerinin üstünde ve onların ders programlarını da kapsayan daha geniş bir müfredatla yükseköğretime öğrenci hazırlayan kurumlar olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu nizamnameye göre, bin haneden fazla olan yerlerde idâdi mektebinin açılması uygun görüldüğünden, Mardin Sancağında da 19 Kasım 1900 tarihinde bir idâdi mektebi açılıp, günümüze kadar aralıksız olarak farklı isimler altında eğitim faaliyetlerini devam ettirmiştir. Bu çerçevede, Mardin İdâdisi çalışmamıza konu olmakla birlikte, evvela özelde Mardin Sancağının ve genelde İslâm aleminin klasik eğitim kurumları ve son dönem Osmanlı eğitim sisteminden ve Mardin'de görülen etkisinden bahsedildikten sonra, mektebin açılışı, öğretim programı, öğrenci sayısı, öğretmen kadrosu ve öğretmen nakil ve tayin işlemleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir
Abstract
The senior high schools had become a part of the Ottoman educational system as secondary education institutions with the General Education Regulations in 1869. The senior high school can be defined as the institutions which are over the junior high schools with extensive curriculum preparing students for higher education. According to the this regulation, the towns with over 1000 houses had the chance to have a senior high school, a senior high school was founded in Mardin county on November 19, 1900 and it has provided education up-to-now with different names continuously. The main topic of the study consists of Mardin Senior High School, classical educational institutions of the Mardin county and of the Islamic world in general and late period Ottoman Educational system, its influence in Mardin, then, the opening of the school, the teaching program, number of students, teaching staff as well as the transfers of the teachers
