Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Sağlık Yönetimi bölümünde lisans eğitimini sürdürmekte olan öğrencilerin muhasebe derslerindeki başarılarını etkileyen faktörler hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemektir. Öğretim elemanlarının, öğrencilerin dersteki başarılarını nelerin artıracağı hakkındaki görüşlerini bilmesi dersin etkinliğinin ve dersteki başarı düzeyenin arttırılmasını sağlayacaktır. Tanımlayıcı araştırmada elektronik anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Sivas Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Sağlık Yönetimi bölümünde aktif olarak lisans eğitimi alan 490 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmaya 222 öğrenci katılmış olup, katılımcıların 112’si birinci, 110’u ikinci öğrenim öğrencisidir. Araştırma sonucunda; anketi cevaplayan öğrencilerin başarısında etkili olan en önemli faktörlerin başında öğretim elemanın bilgisi, deneyimi, öğrencilere karşı tutumunun geldiği, sorasında öğrencilerin derse karşı olumlu düşünmelerinin, dersi sevmelerinin ve gelecek için dersin önemli olduğunu düşünmelerinin geldiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Ayrıca; öğrenciler derslerin tahta üzerinde çok daha fazla örnekle anlatılmasının PowerPoint üzerinde anlatılmasından daha etkili olduğunu düşünmektedirler.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the views of the undergraduate students about the factors that affect their success in their accounting courses in the Department of Health Management at Sivas Cumhuriyet University. The knowledge of the instructors about what to improve the students' achievements will increase the effectiveness of the course and the level of the students’ achievements in these courses. The electronic questionnaire method is used in this descriptive research. The universe of the study constitutes 490 undergraduate students who are currently attending to the Department of Health Management at Sivas Cumhuriyet University. Of222 students who have participated in the study are 112 formal and 110 non-formal. As a result of the research, it is concluded that the most important factors influencing the success of the students who have answered the questionnaire are the knowledge and experience of the instructor, the attitude of the instructor towards the students and the positive attitudes of the students towards the lesson, apart from their enjoyment of the lesson and the realization of its importance for the future. The students think that teaching the lessons including more examples on the board is more effective than teaching them through PowerPoint presentations.
