Özet

Kopya çekme, bugün eğitim sisteminin her kademesinde gözlemlenen, neredeyse öğrenciler tarafından öğrencilik yaşamının bir parçası gibi kanıksanmış, sistem için önemli bir sorun teşkil eden istenmeyen bir davranıştır. Bu çalışmayla, üniversite öğrencilerinin kopya çekme konusundaki görüşlleri farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmiştir. Genel tarama modeli niteliğinde olan bu araştırmada; veriler, araştırmacının geliştirdiği 42 maddeden oluşan beşli likert tarzında bir ölçmee aracı ve kopya çekmeye yönelik tutum ölçeğiyle, Gazi Üniversitesi Endüstriyel Sanatlar Eğitim Fakültesi ve Teknik Eğitim Fakültesinin 1.,2. ve 3. sınıf öğrencilerinden gönüllü olarak katılan 300 öğrenciden toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; üniversite ögrencilerinin büyük çoğunluğunun her ders olmasa da bazı derslerin sınavında kopya çektikleri, ögrencilerin kopya çekmeye yönelik tutumlarının, cinsiyet, devam ettikleri sınıf, bölüm derslerini önemli bulma durumu, bölümden memnun olma durumu ve derslere yönelik başarı algılarına göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

The practice of cheating is a type of undesired behavior which is observed in all levels of education system in our age and which has become surfeited with by students as a part of education life, and which is an important problem for the system. In this study, opinions of the university students on the practice of cheating were viewed in terms of different variants. In this research study which constitutes a general survey model, the data is collected from 300 volunteer students at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd classes of Gazi University, Faculty of Industrial Arts Education and Faculty of Technical Education by using the five-point Likert scale covering 42 articles developed by researches and scale of attitude towards cheating. In the end of research, it has been found out that most of the university students cheat in some of lectures even though they do not cheat at all of the lectures; that the attitudes of students towards cheating vary significantly according to gender, the class they attend, the importance they give to departmental lectures, their satisfaction from the department and their perceptions of success in lectures.
