Art Teachers' Opinions About the Art Education Applied at Anatolion Fine Arts High Schools

Özet

Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Liselerinde amaca uygun sanat eğitiminin verilmesi, yaratıcı düşüncenin geliştirilmesi adına yapılan araştırmalarda, bu liselerde görev yapan öğretmenlerin görüş ve önerileri son derece önemlidir. Bu düşünceden hareketle araştırmada, liselerde uygulanan sanat derslerinin yeterliği, resim öğretmenlerinin taşıması gereken özellikler, okullardaki yaratıcı eğitimi engelleyen nedenler ve Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Liselerinin varlığının sanat eğitimine kazandırdığı değerler, bu liselerde görev yapan resim öğretmenlerinin görüşleriyle ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Öğrencilerin liselerdeki ve yüksek öğrenimdeki başarılarının artmasına yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur. Araştırma tarama modelindedir. Dokuz ilde görev yapan resim öğretmenlerine dokuz sorudan oluşan anket uygulanmış, verilerin analizinde frekans ve yüzde hesaplanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, özellikle liselerin okul binası, araç-gereç, malzeme ve nitelikli branş öğretmeni ihtiyaçlarının karşılanmasının gerekliliği vurgulanmış; branş öğretmenlerinin alanında aktif, yaratıcı , çağdaş öğretmenler olması gerekliliği savunulmuş; ders programlarının çağın değişen şartlarına göre kendini yenilemesi gerekliliği üzerinde durulmuştur. Olumlu yaklaşımların geliştirilmesi ve sorunların çözümüne yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract

Teachers’ opinions and suggestions play a crucial role in the research studies carried out at Anatolian Fine Arts High Schools which aim at applying art education with its main goals and improving creative thinking. Taking this rationale into consideration, this study attempts to show the findings related to the sufficiency of the art lessons done in these high schools, the main qualities of the teachers, the reasons which prevent creative education and the values which Anatolian Fine Arts High Schools contribute to the art education through the art teachers’ opinions who work in these high schools. Some recommendations are made to increase the success of the students who study at high schools in the model of searching and scanning. Data has been collected through questionnaire (which consists of nine questions) applied to the art teachers who work in nine cities. The frequency and percentages of the findings have been analyzed. As a result of this research study, the necessity of the buildings of the high schools, tool-requisite, materials and qualified, active, creative and modern teachers are discussed. Furthermore, the need to update the curriculum according to the needs of our world today is also highligted. Some further recommendations are made about how to improve the positive approaches in this education and to solve the problems.
