Meslek Liselerindeki Öğrencilerin Disipline Aykırı Davranışta Bulunma Nedenleri (Ankara İli Örneği)

The Reason of Misbehaviours of the Students at Vocational High Schools (Ankara-Province Sample)

Özet

Okullarda eğitim faaliyetlerinin verimli bir şekilde gerçekleştirilebilmesi için öğrencilere huzurlu bir ortam sağlanmalıdır. Huzurlu bir ortamın sağlanabilmesi için de öğrencilerin disiplin kurallarına uymaları gerekmektedir. Diğer liselerde olduğu gibi Meslek Liselerinde de bazı öğrenciler disipline aykırı davranışta bulunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı Meslek Liselerindeki öğrencilerin disipline aykırı davranışlarda bulunma nedenlerini araştırmaktır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2004-2005 öğretim yılında Ankara il merkezinde bulunan 18 adet meslek lisesindeki 516 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Bu liselerin altısı Kız Meslek Lisesi, altısı Endüstri Meslek Lisesi ve diğer altısı da Ticaret Meslek Lisesi-dir. Veriler, anket kullanılarak toplanmıştır. 516 anket Kay-kare Testi ve Basit Korelasyon kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analiz ayrıca cevapların istatistiksel frekans ve yüzde dağılımlarını da içermektedir. Öğrencilerin disipline aykırı davranışlarının nedenleri ile ilgili aşağıdaki faktörler incelenmiştir; öğrencinin an-ne-babasmın boşanmış ya da ayrı yaşıyor olması, öğrencinin ailesinin gelir düzeyi, anne-babanm eğitim düzeyi, anne-babanm tutum ve davranışları, öğrencinin derslerindeki başarı durumu, derslikteki öğrenci sayısı, televizyon programları, toplumsal şiddet. Araştırma sonucunda meslek liselerindeki öğrencilerin disipline aykırı davranışları ile aşağıdaki faktörlerin ilişkili olduğu bulunmuştur; cinsiyet, öğrencinin okuldaki başarı düzeyi, öğrenciye yönelik ailesel şiddet ve baskı, ilgisiz ebeveynler, kavgalı ev ortamı, öğrencinin hatalarına yönelik ebeveynlerin uygun olmayan tutumları, televizyon ve gazetelerdeki şiddet ile ilgili haberler, şiddet içeren filmler ve oyunlar, (mafya, korku, savaş ve dövüş), çevresel şiddete tanık olma, çevrede hırsızlık, gasp ve kapkaç gibi olayların sıklığı.

Abstract

Apeaceful environment is needed to perform educational activities efficiently in the schools. And to supply a peaceful environment, students must obey the discipline rules. As it happens at the other schools, at Vocational High schools some students misbehave.The purpose of this study is to research the reasons of the misbehaviours of the students at the Vocational High schools. Sampling of the research is based on 516 students at 18 Vocational High Schools in Ankara, in the schooling period of 2004-2005. Six of these high schools are “Girls’ Vocational High Schools”, and six of them are “Technical Vocational High Schools”, and the other six of the high schools are “ Trade Vocational High Schools. Datas were collected by questionnaires. 516 Questionnaires were analysed by using Chi-Square Test and Simple Correlation. Anlysis also includes statistical frequencies and percentages of the answers. About the reasons of the misbehaviours of the students following factors were studied: students, whose parens are divorced or live separately, income level of the student’s family, educational level of the parents, behaviours and attitudes of the parents, student’s succes level at school, number of the students in the classroom, television programmes, social violance. Following factors are found related with the misbehaviours of the students at vocational high schools: gender, student’s succes level at school, parental violance and pressure towards the student, irrelevant parents, quarreling home atmosphere, unsuitable attitudes of the parents towards the student’s mistakes, news about violance on television and newspapers, movies and games including violance (Maffia, Horror, War, Martial Arts), witness of the environmental violance, frequencies of the crimes such as theft, robbery and stealingin by snetching in the environment.
