Özet

Araştırmada; 2005-2006 eğitim öğretim yılında, 155 ilköğretim 2. sınıf öğrencisi, okuma yazma hataları yönünden iki ay süreyle gözlenmiştir. Daha sonra ilk okuma yazmayı öğrendikleri yönteme göre okuma yazma hataları karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu araştırmada tarama modeli, anket ve gözlem tekniği gibi çeşitli model ve teknikler kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde tablolar oluşturulmuş ve t testi gibi çeşitli istatistiksel testler kullanılarak elde edilen veriler yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında gözlenen 2. sınıf öğrencilerinin; Ses Temelli Cümle Yöntemi (STCY) ile ilk okuma yazma öğrenenlerin %75’inin, Cümle Yöntemiyle ilk okuma yazma öğrenen öğrencilerin ise %17’sinin bitişik eğik yazıyı tercih ettikleri belirlenmiştir.

Abstract

In the research; in the 2005-2006 academic year, 155 Primary Education Grade 2 students who form the research` s illustration group were observed for two months in terms of their reading and writing mistakes. Then their reading and writing mistakes was comparisoned according to the method they learned early reading and writing. In this research, a variety of technique such as scanning model, questionnaire and observation techniques and models have been used. In the processes of interpretation of data; form charts have been created and the datas, which were acquired by using variety of statistical techniques such as t test, have been interpretated. In the research, when the observed Primary Education Grade 2 students’ “preference in writing styles” was examined, it has been concluded that; 75% of the students who have learned early reading and writing with the Phoneme Based Sentence Method (PBSM) prefer agglutinative slanted writing while 17% of the students who have learned early reading and writing with SB prefer this style in writing.
