EVALUATION OF LGS AND SAMPLE MATHEMATICS QUESTIONS WITHIN THE LEARNING AREAS AND PISA 2012 FRAMEWORK

Özet

Doküman analizi yöntemi ile tasarlanan bu çalışmada 2017-2018 ve 2018- 2019 eğitim öğretim yıllarında ÖDSGM resmi sitesi üzerinden yayımlanmış olan örnek matematik soruları ile 2018 ve 2019 yıllarında yapılmış olan LGS’de yer alan matematik sorularının Ortaokul Matematik Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda yer alan öğrenme alanları, alt öğrenme alanları ve PISA 2012 problem çözme becerileri değerlendirme çerçevesinde yer alan temel elemanlarına göre analiz edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla 40 LGS ve 105 örnek matematik sorusu incelenmiştir. Yapılan içerik analizi sonucunda birden fazla kazanımı ölçmeye yönelik sorulara rastlanmış ayrıca önceki sınav sistemlerine göre üst düzey becerileri ölçen soru sayısının arttığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Soruların bağlamlarının önceki sınav sistemlerine göre oldukça çeşitlendiği de araştırmanın bulguları arasındadır.

Abstract

This study, which was designed with document analysis method, is aimed to evaluate sample mathematics questions published on the official website of ÖDSGM (General Directorate of Measurement, Evaluation and Examination Services) in the academic year 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 and mathematics questions in LGS in 2018 and 2019 according to the basic features of learning areas and sub-learning areas in the Primary School Mathematics Curriculum and the PISA 2012 problem-solving assessment framework. For this purpose, 40 LGS and 105 sample math questions were evaluated. As a result of the content analysis, it was observed that there were questions to measure more than one acquisition, and it was concluded that there has been an increase in the number of questions measuring higher-level skills compared to previous exam systems. The results of the study also included the fact that the context of questions varied considerably compared to previous exam systems.
