AYLA KUTLU’NUN ‘MERHABA SEVGĠ’ ADLI ÇOCUK ROMANININ DEĞERLER EĞĠTĠMĠ VE ON KÖK DEĞER AÇISINDAN ĠNCELENMESĠ

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ayla Kutlu‟nun Merhaba Sevgi adlı çocuk romanını değerler eğitimi ve on kök değer açısından incelemektir. Bu amaç çerçevesinde söz konusu eserdeki değerler tespit edilmiş, eser öğretim programlarında yer alan on kök değer açısından incelenmiş ve eserin önemi değerler açısından ortaya konulmuştur. Bu çalışmada „temel nitel araştırma‟ deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın materyalini, Ayla Kutlu‟nun, 166 sayfadan oluşan ve 1989 yılında kaleme alınan Merhaba Sevgi adlı çocuk romanı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada doküman incelemesine göre elde edilen veriler, içerik analiziyle çözümlenmiş, sıklık açısından değerlendirilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda, eserde, toplam 42 ayrı değerin yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. 2018 yılında yayımlanan öğretim programlarında yer alan on kök değerin de eserde geçtiği görülmüştür. Bunlardan sevgi (53), dürüstlük (43), yardımseverlik (24), sorumluluk (24) ve saygı (22) değerleri, eserde en çok yer alan değerler olmuştur. Bunları dostluk (10), sabır (9) ve öz denetim (7) takip etmiştir. Eserde, on kök değerden en az geçenleri ise adalet (5) ve vatanseverlik (3) değerleridir. Buna göre eserin değerler açısından zengin olduğu, değerler eğitimi açısından önemli olduğu söylenebilir. Çalışmanın sonunda çeşitli önerilere yer verilmiştir.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to analyze the children‟s novel Merhaba Sevgi by Ayla Kutlu in terms of values education and the ten core values in the curricula. The values addressed by the book were determined, the book was analyzed in terms of the ten core values in the curricula, and its significance for values was highlighted. In this study „basic qualitative research‟ design was used. The study material was the 166-page children's novel Merhaba Sevgi written by Ayla Kutlu in 1989. Data were collected using document review. Data were analyzed using content analysis and evaluated and interpreted in terms of frequency. The results showed that the book addresses a total of 42 values, including the ten core values in the 2018-curricula. It mostly refers to the values of love (53), honesty (43), helpfulness (24), responsibility (24), and respect (22), followed by friendship (10), patience (9) and self-control (7). It makes the least mention of the values of justice (5) and patriotism (3). This result indicates that the book is rich in values, and therefore, important for values education. Suggestions were made at the end of the study.
