Türkiye’de çalışma hayatında kadın istihdamı

Özet

Günümüzde işsizlik ve istihdam, sonuçları açısından toplumların en önemli sorun alanlarından birini oluşturmaktadır. Toplumsal refah ve kalkınma açısından bu sorunun çözümü önemli bir husustur. İstihdam sorunundan etkilenen kadın işgücünün çalışma hayatına dahil edilmesi, toplumsal kalkınmada önemli bir etkendir. Bu nedenle günümüzde kadın işgücünün yapısı ve kadın istihdamının önemi artmış bulunmaktadır. Kadın işgücünün mevcut durumunun ortaya konulması bu yönde izlenecek politikalara ışık tutacaktır. Bu çalışmada, konu ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılmış ve TÜİK verileri kullanılmıştır. İstatistikî veriler çerçevesinde kadın istihdamı bütün yönleriyle irdelenerek, Türkiye’de kadın işgücünün çalışma hayatındaki profili ortaya konulmuş, ekonominin genel yapısı ekseninde değerlendirilmeler yapılmıştır. Toplumsal kalkınma açısından kadın istihdamının önemli olduğu; ancak mevcut toplumsal yapı ve ekonomide izlenen politikalar münasebetiyle kadın istihdamının arzu edilen düzeyde artırılamayacağı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract

Nowadays, in terms of their results, unemployment and employment are one of the most important problems of the community. The solution of this problem is an important issue for the purpose of social welfare and development. The inclusion of women labor force, who are influenced from the employment problem, is an important factor in the social development. For this reason nowadays the importance of the structure of women labor force and women employment are increased. The display of current situtation of the women labor force will show the way for the related policies. In this study, related literature inquires are made and the datas of Turkish Statistical Institute are used. The women employment are considered across the board in accordance with statistical datas, the profile of Turkish women labor force in the working life is displayed, the assesments are made accoridng to the general structure of the economy. It is considered that employment of women is important in terms of social development, but it is not possible to increase women employment to the desired level due to the current social structure and economic policies.
