Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı odun plastik kompozit (OPK) üretiminde dolgu maddesi olarak yumurta kabuğu kullanımınınetkisi belirlemek olacaktır. OPK üretiminde polipropilen, kızılçam odun unu, yumurta kabuğu ve Maleik AnhidritPolipropilen (MAPP) kullanılmıştır. Tek vidalı ekstruder kullanılarak elde edilen karışımdan enjeksiyon kalıplamayöntemi ile test numuneleri üretilmiştir.Numunelerin fiziksel (kalınlık şişme, su alma) ve bazı mekanik özellikleri (eğilme direnci, eğilmede elastikiyetmodülü ve darbe direnci) incelenmiştir. Elde edilen verilere göre yumurta kabuğu kullanımına bağlı olarakkompozitlerin fiziksel özelliklerinin olumsuz etkilendiği tespit edilirken, mekanik özelliklerde ise yapılan testleregöre bu durumun farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir.
Abstract
The aim of this study will be to determine the effect of using egg shell as filler in wood plastic composite (WPC)production. Polypropylene, red pine wood flour, egg shell and Maleic Anhydride Polypropylene (MAPP) wereused in the production of WPC. Test samples were produced by injection molding method from the mixtureobtained by using a single screw extruder. The physical (thickness swelling, water absorption) and some mechanical properties (bending resistance, modulusof elasticity in bending and impact resistance) of the samples were investigated. According to the data obtained, itwas determined that the physical properties of the composites were negatively affected due to the use of egg shells,while it was determined that this situation differed according to the tests performed in the mechanical properties.
