Abstract
In this paper, we applied two approximate methods for the solution of a boundary value problem for a differential equation with retarded argument: 0 "( ) ( ) ( ( )) ( ) ( ) ( ) ( 0) ( ) , x t at xt t f t xt t t xT xτ τ ϕ λ + − = = ≤ ≤ = where a(t), f (t),τ (t) ≥ 0 (0 ≤ t ≤ T ) and ϕ (t) 0 (λ ≤ t ≤ 0) are known as continuous functions.
