Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışma, Manisa ili merkezinde bulunan Doğumevi, Celal Bayar Üniversitesi ve SSK Hastanelerinde, Kadm-Doğum Kliniklerinde çalışan ebe ve hemşirelerin, kendi üreme sağlıklarına yönelik sorunları ve bu sorunlara nasıl yaklaştıklarının incelenmesi amacıyla durum saptamaya yönelik betimleyici bir araştırmadır. Materyal ve Metod: Araştırma 15 Ekim-15 Aralık 2004 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Evrenin tümü (41 ebe ve 24 hemşire) araştırmaya alınmış, veriler anket formu uygulanarak toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, ebe ve hemşirelerin %75.0'ının aile planlaması yöntemi kullandığı, yöntem kullananların %55.0'ının rahim içi araç kullandığı, %31'inin dismenore, %21.9'unun vajinal enfeksiyon sorunlarının olduğu, %65.6'sının jinekolojik sorunlarının çözümü için doktora başvurdukları belirlenmiştir. Kendi kendine meme muayenesini (KKMM) bilen ebe ve hemşire oranının %95.4 olmasına rağmen düzenli olarak KKMM yapan sadece %47.7'dir. Katılımcıların %9.2'sinin düzenli PAP smear testi yaptırdığı bulunmuştur. KKMM yapma ve PAP smear testi yaptırmalarını periyodik jinekolojik kontrole gitme durumlarının (sırasıylaOR3.077GA;0.551-17.175, OR 13.750 GA;2.067-91.476)etkilediği bulunmuştur. Sonuçlar: Sonuç olarak kadın doğum kliniklerinde çalışan ebe ve hemşirelerin koruyucu üreme sağlığına yönelik davranışlarının yetersiz olduğu saptanmıştır.

Abstract

Objective: This study is an appearance research and aimed to determine of problems with their own reproductive health and how they approached to these problems of midwives and nurses which work in the obstetrics and gynecologic clinics in center of Manisa. Materials and Methods: The research was made in between October 15-December 15 2004. The whole study population was included in the study without applying any sampling method in the formation of sampling group. Results: According to inventions of these research, 75.0% of midwives and nurses used regimens of family planning, 55.0% of who were using of regimens, were used intra uterine device 31.0% of them had dysmenorrheal, 21.9% of them hag vaginal infection and 65.6% of them was approached to doctor for their gynecological problems. The proportion of who makes breast self-examination was only 47.7%, however the proportion of nurses and midwives was 95.4% who knows breast self-examination, it has been found,9.2% invited were used PAP smear testing regularly. Breast self-examination was affected by approaching to doctor with a gynecological problem (OR: 3.077 CI 0.551 -17.175), and using of PAP smear testing regularly was affected by approach to doctor with a gynecological problem (OR: 13.750 CI 2.067-91.476). Conclusion: Consequently, it was found that, reproductive health preventive behaviors of midwives and nurses which who work in the obstetrics and gynecologic clinics were inadequate.
