Turizmde Bilişim Sistemlerinin Yer Aldığı Çalışmaların Bibliyometrik Analizi

Özet

Bilişim sistemleri hayatımızda karşılaştığımız her durum ve ortamda kullanılmaktadır. Örneğin bankacılık sektöründe gerçekleştirdiğimiz havaleler ve yatırımlar gibi işlemlerde, eğitim sektöründe ders alma ve verme süreçlerinde, pazarlama sektöründe ürünün sunulmasından satışına kadar bütün süreçlerde bilişim sistemlerinden faydalanılmaktadır. Sektörel bazda düşündüğümüzde turizm sektörünün de teknolojinin getirdiği kolaylıklardan faydalanması ve rekabet açısından da avantaj kazanması önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma kapsamında turizm alanında yapılan akademik çalışmalarda bilişim sistemlerinin hangi boyutta ele alındığı ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Turizm çalışmalarındaki bilişim sistemlerine yer verilme durumuna sistematik bir bakış açısı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda alanyazındaki çalışmalar kapsamında bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada Scopus veri tabanında yer alan uluslararası yapılmış çalışmalar alınarak VOSviewer analiz uygulamasında anahtar kelimeler, ülkeler, kurumlar ve dergi boyutlarında analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre en çok tekrar eden anahtar kelimelerde “GIS”, atıf alan dergilerde; “Tourism Management”, ve atıf yapılan Ülkelerde “Çin” ilk sırada yer almıştır. Bu çalışmada turizmde bilişim sistemlerine yer verilen araştırmalar bibliyometrik analize tabi tutularak mevcut durumu ortaya koyulmuştur. Gelecek çalışmaların literatür araştırması aşamalarında oldukça yardımcı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract

Information systems are used in everywhere and environment we encounter in our lives. For example; information systems are used in all processes such as transfers and investments we carry out in the banking sector, taking and offering courses in the education sector, and in all processes from the presentation of the product to the sale of the product in the marketing sector. On a sectoral basis, it is also important for the tourism sector to benefit from the conveniences brought by technology and gain an advantage in terms of competition. Within the scope of this study, it has been tried to reveal the extent to which information systems are handled in academic studies in the field of tourism. It is aimed to provide a systematic perspective on the use of information systems in tourism studies. For this purpose, bibliometric analysis method was used within the scope of the studies in the literature. In this study, international studies in the Scopus database were taken and analyzed in the VOSviewer analysis application in terms of keywords, countries, institutions and journals. According to the analysis results; it is found that “GIS” is the most repeated keyword, “Tourism Management” is the most cited journal, and “China” is the most cited Country. In this study, researches in the field of information systems in the field of tourism were subjected to bibliometric analysis and the current situation was revealed. It is thought that this study will be very helpful in the literature researches of future studies
